After a global invasion in the 1850s, the world drastically changed. Under a unified, global government, the cultures blended together and many advances have been made in a short period of time. English and Latin became the primary languages and space travel was achieved quickly due to the emerging technology.

In 1907 Mars was successfully colonized by a private group of scientists, artists and theologians. They call themselves RED and still exist today. Over the years RED has acquired a monopoly in all off-planet industries such as gathering and refining natural resources, reshaping ecosystems, space hotels, botanical innovation and robotic industries.

The affiliated companies now govern everything on mars and its two prominent, yet tiny satellites - Phobos and Deimos. The RED daughter corporations effectively produce food and beverages, provide a wide array of services and control the economy in the entire Mars orbit cluster. Their reach even extends to the more obscure elements of society such as organized crime, solicited romance and genetic enhancement.

This series of my works illustrates the propaganda that RED uses actively to influence the course of history and promote their agendas. You may see commercials alongside the more occult and subliminal messaging to shape the perception of the masses.

Additionally, these works are my tribute to one of my favorite artists – Shepard Fairey. As such, he also deserves credit for inspiring me and laying the groundwork for using propagandist methods towards altruistic goals. I call it the anti-propaganda, or pseudo-propaganda.

Every element within these works is meant to be. Decoration was important, but as a tool to aid the concept. Almost nothing was left to chance. In all my works I try to work on multiple levels, using color, shapes, symbols and dynamics to re-enforce my ideas. These works, however, are not complicated and are appealing in the eye of the crowd, due to their propagandist roots. Should you choose to give it more than a glance you will find a plethora of embedded ideas and parodies.

With this I leave you to my work and my work up to you. I hope that it inspires you as I once was. This style and symbolism have a lot of potential for commercial products, especially in the modern world where the alternative has become normal and fashion cycles through previous decades. My goal is to simply light the way and allow people to make informed choices in hope of a brighter future, by exposing the means of control.

As for the process I used a straightforward method. I drew most of the designs by hand, fed them to my self-trained, artificial neural network for texture enhancement, curated the results and continued to work digitally in Photoshop, illustrator and other programs to achieve the final result. After this, I used another AI to upscale the images without relying on vector graphics and printed the posters. Because of this method each of the works can be reproduced in almost any size and should you purchase a poster of your own, it will in no way differ from the original apart from the signature.
